Yeti Gathering, the nearly 25-year-old tradition from Yeti Cycles, is back at Kingdom Trails October 2 to 4, 2026, and the Wildflower Inn is headquarters. That means our 300-acre property on Darling Hill Road in Lyndonville, Vermont is home base for the whole weekend: hero dirt, peak fall color, and some of the best beer in the country, poured a pedal-stroke from the trail. What is Yeti Gathering, and why is it here
Yeti Gathering started nearly 25 years ago as a race-season-ending party at Snowmass, Colorado, and has grown into one of Yeti Cycles' most special traditions, a way to honor the brand's roots and its "Yeti Freaks." This year it heads to Vermont, headquartered at the Wildflower Inn, October 2 to 4, 2026, 10am to 10pm each day. Expect vibrant fall colors, hero-dirt singletrack, and some of the tastiest beer in the country. Registration is through Yeti Cycles, and their own note is to sign up before it fills up.
We're hosting because the trails run directly through our property. Riders can roll out the door, spend the day on the network, and roll back in for dinner without moving the car.
Why fall is the best window to ride Kingdom Trails
Ask anyone who lives here: fall is when Kingdom Trails is at its best. The humidity breaks, cool nights firm up the dirt, and the summer crowds thin out. By the first weekend of October, that foliage is typically at or near peak across the Northeast Kingdom, which means Yeti weekend riders get both at once: the best dirt of the year, running through turning hills.
Roll off the trail and into Edward and Sip of Sunshine
Yeti's own invitation says to "brush up on your latest IPA knowledge," and we happen to have the answer. Trailside, our beer, coffee, and snack bar, sits directly on the Kingdom Trails network behind Rifugio's red barn, and both Edward, Hill Farmstead's Vermont Pale Ale and our best-selling beer by a wide margin, and Sip of Sunshine, Lawson's Finest Liquids' flagship IPA, are poured there. Both beers are also always on hand at our main restaurant bar, open 365 days a year. Roll off the trail in your riding shoes and get an Edward without ever leaving the trail network, no drive to a brewery required. Where to stay for Yeti weekend
Two nights at the Wildflower Inn are part of the Gathering ticket, so most of our 27 rooms and suites are spoken for October 2 to 4 (as of September 20, two of our largest suites remained open to the public). The nights either side of the weekend, September 28 to October 1 and October 4 to 8, are the quiet midweek window with the same trails and the same color. The Kingdom Trails network runs through the 300-acre property itself. Cozy queens work for solo riders, and suites sleeping 4 to 10 fit a full crew. Every room includes secure bike storage, a wash station, and e-bike charging, and Rifugio, our on-site bike shop, handles rentals, service, and gear if anything needs attention before the weekend. More than the bike: 27 holes and Tuesday night disc golf
If Yeti weekend includes a rest day, or a non-riding partner, our 27-hole disc golf course is on property, and Tuesday Night Disc Golf League runs through October at 5:30pm with weekly payouts and a growing Ace Pot. Good way to spend a Tuesday if your Yeti trip stretches the week.
