The Adventure Begins Right Outside Your Door

One of the best things about staying at The Wildflower Inn? You don’t have to go far—your next adventure begins the moment you step outside.

Nestled in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, our inn sits on a sprawling hillside property that offers immediate access to scenic trails for both hikers and mountain bikers. Whether you're looking to start your day with a peaceful nature walk or end it with a thrilling ride through the woods, the trailhead is quite literally at your doorstep.

Hiking Trails for Every Pace

Looking for a mellow stroll or a leg-stretching hill climb? You’ll find both right here. Our on-property hiking trails wind through rolling meadows, pine forests, and quiet groves that come alive with birdsong and wildflowers. These trails are perfect for families, solo wanderers, or anyone who just wants a dose of fresh air and big Vermont views without getting in a car.

Grab a coffee in the morning and take a slow loop before breakfast—or bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it. Either way, no maps, no traffic, no hassle—just nature.

Mountain Biking Access: Ride In, Ride Out

We’re proud to be directly connected to the world-class Kingdom Trails network—some of the best mountain biking trails in the Northeast. Whether you're a seasoned rider or brand-new to the sport, our doorstep access makes it easy to roll straight from your room to the dirt.

E-bikers, take note: e-mountain bikes are now allowed on Kingdom Trails, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome a broader range of riders to the experience. Want a shorter loop for a warm-up? Stay on our property trails. Looking for a full-day challenge? Head out and explore the vast network just beyond.

And the best part? When you’re done riding, there’s no long drive home. Park your bike, rinse off at our wash station, and grab a cold drink or a hot meal right here.

Unplug and Unwind

With adventure just steps away, you’ll spend less time planning and more time actually living it. At The Wildflower Inn, you can unplug, reconnect with nature, and let the day unfold with ease and spontaneity. Whether it’s a solo ride at sunrise or a sunset walk with the kids, the adventure you’re looking for is already waiting—right outside your door.

Ready to hit the trail? Book your stay and discover how effortless adventure can be.
