burke mountain pond skim

A pond skim event is a popular spring skiing event that takes place in many ski resorts around the world, including our very own, Burke Mountain. Participants dress up in wacky costumes and attempt to ski or snowboard across a pond or small body of water at the base of a ski resort. The goal is to make it across the pond without falling in. The event typically draws a large crowd of spectators and is a fun way to celebrate the end of the ski season. There is typically a theme, this year's being PROM! More info available below.
