Is the Inn open year-round?
Yes! The Wildflower Inn is open
365 days a year, with something for every season—from snow-filled adventures to peak foliage and summer trail rides.


Where is the Wildflower Inn located?
The Wildflower Inn is located in Lyndon, Vermont, on scenic Darling Hill Road—right in the heart of the Kingdom Trails network. We’re just
10 minutes off I-91 (Exit 23) and 10 minutes from Burke Mountain.


Can I ride Kingdom Trails directly from the Inn?
Yes! The trails run directly through our property. Guests and day visitors can ride right from the front door. We are the best “park and ride” location in Lyndon, Burke, East Burke, Kirby, Victory, and Sutton.


Do you have parking for day visitors and trail riders?
Yes. We offer
ample free parking for our inn guests, restaurant patrons, and the public, as well as access to Kingdom Trails.


Is there a lake nearby?

 Yes. The Wildflower Inn is approximately 20 minutes (12 miles) from Lake Willoughby, one of Vermont’s most scenic and dramatic glacial lakes. (Be sure to check out Mount Pisgah Trail)


Is there Wi-Fi throughout the property?
Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in
all rooms and common areas.


Do you have a pool?
Yes. Our
heated saltwater pool is open seasonally and is a guest favorite in warmer months.


Are you pet-friendly?
Yes. We have
dog-friendly rooms and plenty of open space for your four-legged friends to explore.


Do you have electric car chargers?
Yes! We recently installed
two EV charging stations.

🚴 Outdoor Adventure

Do you offer bike rentals and services on-site?
Yes. We have a
full-service bike shop right on the property offering rentals, gear, and expert service.


Do you welcome e-bikes?
Absolutely. E-bikes are permitted on all KT trails, and we provide
secure storage and charging stations for e-bikes and all types of bicycles.


Is there a place to store and wash my bike?
Yes. We provide
secure storage and a bike wash station for all guests.


Are guided rides, camps or lessons available?
Yes. We offer guided mountain bike rides, private lessons, and kids’ programs throughout the biking season, through KC&E/Rifugio.


What other outdoor activities are available on the property?
In addition to mountain biking, you can enjoy disc golf, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, lawn games, pickleball, fishing, and gravel riding directly from our property. The Northeast Kingdom offers top-tier outdoor adventure year-round.


Is there good gravel riding nearby?
Yes. We’re located in one of Vermont’s premier gravel riding zones. Bring your gravel bike or rent one here—routes start from our driveway.

Yes — very! We welcome families of all sizes. Many of our rooms have multiple beds, kitchenettes, and extra space so everyone is comfortable. Additionally, kids enjoy our saltwater pool, open fields, and safe outdoor spaces for play.


Is the Wildflower Inn good for solo travelers or single-night stays?

Absolutely. We often host solo adventurers who are biking the Kingdom Trails, hiking Vermont’s backcountry, or simply enjoying a quiet retreat. Our smaller rooms offer comfort, privacy, and direct access to the outdoors. We welcome single-night stays, especially for travelers heading to or from Quebec, the White Mountains, or other parts of Vermont. Our convenient location just 10 minutes off I-91 makes us a perfect stopover.
