WINTER ACTIVITIES
Winter in the Northeast Kingdom is the quiet season — unless you count the skiing. Burke Mountain is 8 minutes up the road, the VAST snowmobile trail runs through the property, Kingdom Trails grooms Nordic and fat-bike terrain on Darling Hill, and our restaurant serves breakfast and dinner 365 days a year.

WINTER IN EVERY DIRECTION
Alpine skiing and riding: Burke Mountain is an 8-minute drive (3.8 miles) from our door — big-mountain terrain without the big-resort lines, and its season pass is shared with Smugglers' Notch. Jay Peak is under an hour north. Prefer to earn your turns? Burke allows uphill travel on designated routes.
Cross-country, snowshoe, and fat bike: Kingdom Trails grooms Nordic and fat-bike terrain on Darling Hill — we sit right on it — and Dashney Nordic Center at Burke adds more groomed kilometers minutes away. Snowshoeing starts from your door across our 300 acres, and the sledding hill is right on the property.
Snowmobiling: we sit right on the VAST trail system — ride out from the inn, and buy your TMA registration at the front desk. Trailer parking is on site, and our Snowmobiler's Package gives registered riders a deal on the room.
