Fourth Of July at the Wildflower Inn

Fourth Of July at the Wildflower Inn

Here at the Wildflower Inn, Lyndonville VT we are proud to call this free country home! We throw a grand celebration to show our appreciation; you won’t want to miss!

Freedom Race and Kingdom Trails
The best way to start your 4th of July celebration is with a Freedom Race, run along the shores of Lake Memphremagog. As we celebrate our independence, we find it fitting that this race gives you the freedom to choose your distance. Pick from a 10 miles, 10K, 5K and 1 mile distance, making this a run for everyone! Kids can join the Freedom Race, or take part in the Kingdom Trails for kids ride! The Kingdom Trails for kids is a guided ride on the kingdom trails for kids ages 7 to 11. Children riders must arrive equipped with a safe functioning bike, wearing appropriate apparel, a helmet, water and a light snack. Parents are welcome to ride along, but not required to join. If you are Kingdom Trails member these guided rides will be free; otherwise, they will be five dollars for non-Kingdom Trails members. Please check the announcement page for more information or cancellations.

Fourth Celebration
After the race, join the “Symbols of Freedom” themed celebration organized by the Lyndonville Lions Club. The July 4th celebration in Lyndonville VT feature AFS Arts and Crafts Show throughout the day, and bounce houses for children, a Hospice duck race, and WNY Gardens Tractor Pull. The Gates Keystone Club Police Pipes and Drums, the Mark Time Marchers, the Lyndonville Central School Marching Band and the LCS Alumni Band will be marching in the Parade at noon. Don’t miss out on the old-fashioned chicken barbecue beginning after the parade. Find the best seat while the Who Dats’ performance gets you ready for the 10 pm fireworks show by Young Explosives.

Lyndonville VT offers that small-town feel you want, to celebrate our country’s freedom! While staying at the Wildflower Inn, you’ll feel the charming Vermont hospitality past all the celebration. However, what will make you want to stay longer is our hearty breakfast!
