Wildflower Inn Carriage House
The Carriage House

The Carriage House was built in 1934 by local historical figure Earl Brown, the former governor of Minnesota who owned the Darling Mansion and thousands of acres on Darling Hill Road in the 1930’s and 1940’s.

Today, the Carriage House is home to three spacious suites and 10 classic rooms. Each has been restored with care, maintaining the historical appeal of the building. Second floor rooms boast open beams and private balconies with spectacular views of nearby Burke and Kirby Mountains. First floor rooms enjoy a garden view.
