Well, if you set up base at the Wildflower Inn, you can utilize our 6 detailed maps and fall foliage tours (developed by our staff) to visit all the nooks and crannies in Vermont, Northern New Hampshire and Southern Quebec and then return at the end of the day to the friendly confines of the Wildflower Inn. This is the most relaxing way to see great fall foliage and the special places our region has to offer.

AUTUMN HARVEST WEEKEND |

The Wildflower Inn invites you to share in the fall foliage fun of our 8th Annual Autumn Harvest Weekend, October 14-16, 2011.
The weekend begins with an evening bonfire and s'mores and continues with autumn-themed activities like apple cider making and bobbing for apples. On Saturday evening, we'll celebrate the bountiful harvest with our 'Autumn Harvest Dinner'.
Package includes:
• 2-nights lodging at our country inn

Dog Mountain is set on 150 acres on a private mountain top spot in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The unspoiled haven is covered with hiking trails and dog ponds. Wildflowers abound in the summer and snow shoeing is a favorite activity in the winter. Dogs are not just welcome here, they are cherished! Stephen Huneck and his wife, Gwendolyn, bought the property in 1995. They turned the barn into studio space. After Stephen's unique visionary experience the Dog Chapel soon followed. The Dog Chapel opened it's doors Memorial Day weekend of 2000. Year after year, the Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery get more and more visitors from all over the world. The grounds on Dog Mountain are always open to people and their dogs. There is no leash law on Dog Mountain so dogs are free to run, play, swim and best of all meet other dogs!
