At Sanderson's Vermont Wooden Bowls, the process of making one of our wood bowls takes over a year from start to finish. It begins by choosing the right piece of wood - we use only Northeast Kingdom Vermont sourced woods for all the bowls in our workshop, but we are happy to use a custom piece of wood if a client has some wood they would like us to work with.

Nestled between Mount Pisgah and Mount Hor, this glacier lake is nearly fives miles long and offers crystal clear waters. Willoughby State forest, including Mount Pisgah, Hor, and Bartlett, surround the south end.
Victory Basin Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is a 4,970-acre wetland and forest complex owned by the State of Vermont and managed by the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. The property is located 15 miles northeast of St. Johnsbury in the town of Victory, in Essex County. Access areas are located along
Victory Road, a dirt road that bisects the WMA and follows the Moose River from North Concord to Gallup Mills.
Groton State Forest, with over 26,000 acres, is the second largest land block administered by the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. The forest contains over 17 miles of hiking trails and over 20 miles of gravel roads and multi-use trails suitable for mountain biking and horseback riding.
